Vivina Café

Location: Just a few minutes walk from Kálvin tér, this small cozy café is located in a quiet little street (Szerb utca), beside ELTE ÁJK.

Coffee: In 2020, they launched their own coffee brand, Nassimocca, for which Warda Coffee Roasters, a Hungarian roaster from Kisvárda, roasts them coffee. Their coffees are available in both filter and espresso (two options: classic and more intense, fruity flavour profile), both for local consumption and coffee beans for home use.

Atmosphere: The interior of the café is relatively small, but in front of it there is a huge terrace, so we can sit out in good weather and enjoy our coffee.

Vivi and Nassim – the owner couple – are open, direct and kind and the slightly secluded location of the place creates a small town atmosphere, where everyone knows everyone, they greet each other with a smile and the regulars sometimes even bring some gifts.

Story: The café opened at the end of 2019. On a sailing trip, one of their friends came up with the idea that they could also open a café; they didn’t think much and got into this joint adventure, which has been going on ever since.

Fun facts: The name Vivina was created by merging the names of Vivi and Nassim.

Vivi loves to paint in her free time, you can also find her pictures on the walls of the café.
